DEEP RELAXATION AND SOUND

 

You'll be guided through relaxation and deep listening and a restorative Tibetan sound bowl healing, creating the potential for transformation, momentum and metamorphosis.

MUSIC

​

In a deeply relaxed state, you'll be carried by the hypnotic, rhythmic and uplifting sounds of Philip Glass' 'Metamorphosis' on piano.

Sunday 12 January: Awakening with the Angel

INTENTION

​

Awaken your inner guide connecting to your higher self to guide you to choose wisdom and a higher path. You'll be guided through an intention of welcoming in light-ness, connection, joy, energy.

 

DEEP RELAXATION AND SOUND HEALING 

​

Christina will guide you through a releasing yoga nidra and the Tibetan Bowls will purify and as you lie down in a relaxed state on soft mattresses. 

​

MUSIC

 

Allow your soul to dance with blissful baroque sounds which will cleanse and lighten your entire being, you'll want to move with your heart and soul.​ You'll experience live sounds of ethereal baroque and classical music played by the stunning violinist Philippa Mo.

Meet your hosts 

Some of you will have met Philippa at The Mount Without in August when she stunned with the Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams.

​

Philippa studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London and at the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing. Philippa now performs extensively as a chamber musician. She has given performances and live broadcasts worldwide, including her acclaimed debut at the Wigmore Hall, recitals at the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds, St John’s, Smith Square, London, the Deutsches Museum, Munich, the Natural History Museum, Ulaan Bataar, when she was invited as the only British musician to participate as soloist in the International Music Festival of Contemporary Music, Mongolia in 2002.

 

Philippa has also been invited to play at the Centre for Contemporary Art, Glasgow, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and The Tate St Ives in the UK and more further afield at the Ankara International Music Festival and the Lincoln Center, New York.

Christina McMaster

Christina McMaster is a pianist, composer and truly creative spirit fascinated by deep listening and sound She is the founder of ‘Lie down and Listen’ – the meditation, sound healing and lying down classical concert experience. She has performed at numerous festivals U.K and worldwide and is known for her creative approach to programming. She studied with Joanna MacGregor and was later appointed Associate of London's prestigious Royal Academy of Music. She has performed worldwide at leading venues/festivals including Cheltenham, Aldeburgh, QEH, and featured on BBC Radio 4, Radio 3, Classic FM
