Lie Down and Listen is returning this June to the beautiful Pip & Jim's Church in Leckhampton.

You won’t just hear the music, you’ll feel it.

What to expect

You'll be guided into a deep relaxation, feeling the vibrations of Tibetan bowls which will merge into the live classical music, woven with a deep immersive electronic sound scape that will move through an experience of 'seeking', 'utopia', 'tenderness', 'chaos', 'deep rest', 'stillness' and ultimately triumphing in a state of 'euphoria' - a feeling of utter joy that few of us allow ourselves to experience. These movement titles represent the range of emotion you might experience.

This, however, is your journey and whatever you're going through, you'll likely leave having processed it and feeling more present, re energised and uplifted. We can't wait to welcome you to this very special Lie Down and Listen.

Founder and Classical Pianist Christina McMaster noticed that it wasn't only the rituals of classical music concert halls that led to a disconnected listening experience, but in daily life, we are experiencing more disconnection than ever, leading to loneliness, anxiety, stress, sense of emptiness etc.

Lie down & Listen began after a chance meeting with Prof. Sir John Strang and a series of events at Kings College London to recreate the wellbeing benefits of a hallucinogenic experience without hallucinogenics- but simply using a certain combination of music in a lying down concert experience as they did in the 1960’s in downtown New York loft apartments where music of Philip Glass, Terry Riley, Steve Reich - also known as the New York Hypnotic School.

After training in sound healing, Christina then evolved the meditation, sound healing and lying down concert experience of today which creates space for deep relaxation and for listeners to reconnect within.

"Total immersion and resonance"

"I felt so relaxed and was made aware of a lot going on in my body and space"

"Blessed to share these moments with people who love and let love in"

The sound bath element cleared so much from my mind. I felt connected at that point on a different level - it was other worldly"
