London City, we are beyond excited to dwell in this stunning and newly restored historic wing of St Bartholomew's hospital. Lie Down and Listen began from the seed of an idea - as founder and pianist Christina McMaster's grandmother related how whenever her grandfather was feeling unwell or down, he didn't go to the hospital, but to the Opera to be uplifted and healed.

Lie Down and Listen: ‘Piano Bliss’ is returning to York this April 2026 with the deeply relaxing sound healing and lying down classical concert experience like no other in the extraordinary 12th Century Church complete with underfloor heating.

Set within the serene beauty of the stunning organic sheep farm, surrounded by rolling countryside and expansive views, these deeply nourishing sessions combine sound and music with gentle movement (simple movements possible to do from seated).
As you lie down on soft mattresses in the natural wood space, you may almost feel as if you are held within a protective womb, receiving the healing vibrations of sound and music.
